Most of the cast was Italian, and many of the younger actors used this film as a chance to practice their English and expand into American work.
The movie was filmed in 6 weeks which is the exact amount of time the characters had in their internship.
Instead of using real coffee in the scenes, coca-cola was used. The actors decided it was too hot to be drinking hot coffee during takes and didn't want to be jittery due to caffeine, but both beverages contain caffeine.
Michelangelo Tommaso (Paulo) and Ilenia Lazzarin (Dari) became friends around the time of filming, they have gone on to work together in the Italian soap opera "Un Posto Al Sol Rai."
