María Rosa is busy selecting the perfect wife for Rafael. Yolanda gets a job as a waitress while her father asks Rafael to give her a position at the firm. Miguel catches up with his old friend, Fidel, who has an important news for him. Federico pines for María Rosa and Ana tries to discourage him.

María Rosa continues to select unsuitable women for Rafael. Instead of doing her job, Yolanda flirts with Mario and parties at the bar. Miguel urges Eva to contact Rafael.

Eva starts work and plays kind and efficient in front of Rafael, whereas with her colleagues she acts superior. Ana looks after Hernán while the girls are away but her cleaning gets her in trouble.

María Rosa decides to have fun on her vacation while Rafael and Eva become an item. Federico takes Libia to stay at María Rosa' house and is shocked to see his mother dressed provocatively. Miguel sells some kitchen supplies to raise money and has a business offer for Fidel.

Rafael proposes to Eva and Héctor finds this action pure madness. María Rosa turns down Martín. Libia and Ana compete in looking after Hernán.
