Oh man.. Wat a movie this is.. Trust me.. U laugh from the title card till end card..'Pandiaraj and Pandiyan' steals all the credit... U never get bored even a second.. The jokes r still fresh and u don't feel like 37 Year old movie..

Guys that grew up in the villages a chance to see the rustic side of tamilnadu, girls in half-saree....oh those days! A movie that came out well as Pandiarajan's directorial debut. Introduced two actresses to Kollywood. Revathy and Seetha. LOve this movie till date.

Fun to watch. Dialogues are excellent and full of nativity. Songs are good. Dance... will make you laugh on how the dance sequences are in those days. I have watched this movie more than 20 times since my childhood. Still, this movie does not bore at all. Instead, it pulls us into the story due to its comical dialogues, comedy actors and nativity. Worth buying your own copy so that you can watch whenever you could not find anything else fascinating. This is worth its own place in the Tamil movie history. Could not believe Pandiyarajan has directed this movie since he looks like a college boy. He is one hell of a movie maker.

Watched more than 50 times but every time it looks new to me. Everyone praised the screenplay, BGM, comedy, songs but I would like to highlight two major things, casting and cinematography (Ashok Kumar). You can't think Aanpavam without VKR, Kollangudi Karuppayi, Poornam Viswanathan, Meesai Murugesan and other supporting characters.

How did they manage to shoot at the reservoir especially the fight with Super subbarayan? Many places I can highlight the best camera work. Aanpavam is a benchmark for Romcom movies. I can rate Aanpavam and Nayakan equally. Pandiyarajan will be remembered for his creation even after 100 years.
