Considering his Age, the Hoff looks okay in this hi-tech thriller. Pity the same can't be said for co-star Yvonne Scio. Whilst the former lad's favourite had the poise and certainly injected a bit of much needed glamour, it can hardly be said that the heart was there to match the smile. Indeed, I have seen more elbow grease in a broken elbowed (both elbows) shrew. As for Gregg Henry (Jack Gillardo), I have seen more eroticism in a nervous shrew being watched by his shrew mother.
don't get me wrong, the basic premise was good. Erotic terrorist espionage thrillers are far too thin on the ground at the moment. Too thin by five, six. Eight!
While it's a shame to see any character, esp. (especially) one played by the Hoff, indulging in extramarital activities (dirty rudeness with sexwomen), I had to enjoy the tastefully shot scenes between Hoff and Scio. He even broke his glasses!
The performance of Lane offered little other than the pedestrian titillation of a boy in a man's world. Besides his slight, and less than occasional aversions to the benign, he showed as much individuality as a pack shrew in a field of pack shrews.
Basically, whilst the actors tried desperately to make the most of a bad lot, even the Hoff couldn't salvage this dead wreckage.

This was one of thoes suprise movies that when walking through your local movie store you walk right by. One day there was nothing to rent so I grabbed it. It was a shocker it was great, the movie just kept on changing and changing and in the end ended up being one of the best movies that i'v seen this year. Now I know that some cynical peaple just pass by and write it off as a bad movie just because it stars David Hasslehoff but hey this is easily david's best work. A must see, so watch it and give it a try.
I used to love Hasselhoff. When I was growing up, Knight Ride was the show to watch. I used to collect all the memorabilia and my mother even made me a birthday cake shaped like KITT for my 7th Birthday. Then later during my adolescence he gave us Baywatch which, for a lad moving through puberty, again was the greatest show on TV. Then I see Layover. Now Hasselhoff has still got it, but the script itself is awful. The plot concerns a chance liason during a layover in San Fransisco, and the sinister chain of events he stumbles into. Unfortunately, I worked out the major twist a third of the way into the film and had to sit through the rest of the movie just waiting to be proved right (very irritating I can tell you).
The movie does have it's good points though. It is fun seeing ol' Dave kick ass and go nuts. There are also some fine looking chicks in this. The problem is this film could have been great, unfortunately it is nothing special. Catch this if it's on TV and you aren't looking for any thing challenging. - 5/10

My wife and I enjoyed this very suspenseful movie. Not predictable and just a fine job by Greg Henry who is always the bad guy. Hasselhoff did a decent job and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Don't remember this movie even being in the theatres. It is well worth it and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
I really like the twists in the story of this movie. It is easy to watch and has a good amount of suspense and humour. David Hasselhoff and Gregg Henry do a great acting job and the great directing and cinematography help to carry this mysterious story. OK, it seems to be quite obvious that this movie has been sponsored by Nokia (which makes some dialogues quite funny). I laughed a lot when I saw that scene in the beginning of the movie where Dan and Jack meet in the plane and Dan shows him that Nokia Communicator mobile phone, that he distributes around the globe... After all, this movie is worth giving it a try, even though the story has some weak spots which actually make this film even more likable!

- CuriosidadesAbout her sex scene with David Hasselhoff, Yvonne Sciò said, "I had to do an important nude scene with him, and I was so embarrassed, I had to do it four times: they wanted me completely naked, I wanted to do it clothed. It was a nightmare, and it was the highlight scene of the movie!"
- Erros de gravaçãoMultiple characters are easily able to get guns airside at San Francisco International Airport by ducking through an unlocked, unalarmed door.

Dan Morrison: You're a pushy son of a bitch.
Jack Gillardo: That's what my mom said when I popped out.
