Another Of Turpin's Rare Vogue Comedies

Ben Turpin's wife thinks he is running around with other women. Then she joins an amateur theatrical society, and he suspects her of unfaithfulness. It all comes to a head at a costume party, with Turpin's secretary dressed as a man.

Actually, it's not at all clear what is going on after the initial set-up. Neither is Turpin used to much advantage. I have never been a particular fan of the cross-eyed comedian, but others have suggested that Vogue shot him in long and medium shots, which did not favor his style of comedy. This may well be the case; here he shows himself as a decent physical comic -- which I already knew -- juggling eggs and doing a dance.
