Ilmar Raag promised to make worst movie in history of Estonia, but I think he failed. In spite of very-very low budget (about 100 dollars?), Tappev Tartu (Killing Tartu) has everything a good movie needs: romance, explosions, special effects, fighting scenes, witty dialogues and unpredictable storyline.
No contracts were made on this film. Therefore commercial exploitation was canceled. Half of the film was shot with the video camera that was taken from television without permission. Nobody was paid. The script was written during a screen writing workshop by students as group assignment.
