Lori Michaels makes a lovely if unlikely Vivid star in this underwhelming romance by Kelly Holland/Toni English, who usually tries much, much harder to come up with an Adult movie.
It poses an uninteresting situation in which unlikable hero Kyle Stone, a ubiquitous porn player best left to minor roles (and now relegated to NonSex filler assignments) who has a crush on Lori but can't get to first base. His best buddy, played NonSex by a member of the crew, keeps giving him tips like arranging her under the Mistletoe at an Xmas party, but nothing works, and the situations remain decidedly unfunny. To call this a Rom-Com would be wrong on both counts, though clearly it was intended to be.
The great Chloe has a "saver" scene, popping up out of nowhere to deliver her anal sex specialty in a threesome, and a deep-tanned Felecia is on hand for a lesbian threesome, but these diversions don't make up for the overall nothingness of the project. The Vivid DVD runs a scant 64 minutes, but IMDb lists a much longer running time, presumably for the VHS original which would be a collector's item 20 years later if in fact there are any Vivid collectors out there.
