Vampiros Anônimos

This movie was so good. I laugh so hard each time I watch it. The hidden comedy is so deliciously dark it makes this movie even better. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. I have successfully infected everyone I know..including my own mother by making them watch this film. I admit that at first they all didn't want to have to sit through it because it seemed a bit silly from the title and description but none of them were disappointed.

If you are looking for an awesome dark comedy with excellent music, check this one out. My only complaint is that I can't find any merchandise like bumper stickers or T-shirts. I am thinking Christmas gifts would be a wonderful way to spread the news! To all of those who watched this movie and didn't "get" it... Dude, you rock!

So, I watched this movie, and I have to admit that there is this one extra who walks through the scene atleast four times. He's sexy. And that's why I am going to watch the movie again and again. His hair is kind of poofy. And he's probably 16 in the movie, but hey it was in production awhile ago. So he's got to be almost 20 now. Wow, if I could just meet him that would be the best experience ever. Watch the movie just for this heart throb. And then watch again. I suggest using the pause button for his scenes. This movie could be improved if they showed the hot extra more often. In fact, I think that it should think about perhaps doing an updated revision to the film to eliminate everyone else's roles and just let this guy be in the whole movie. Girls across the country would flock to it. It would be hotter than NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Mr. Big, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Heath Ledger all in one movie at the same time.

This movie had potential of being really original and fun. It would have achieved this if it had taken the route it looked like it was going in the first 15 minutes, made up of dark and morbid humor, but it wound up to be like a teen flick. There were musical montages with the worst of the worst Ska music and it just bugged me. It also got to be extremely repetitive at times, and really began working off the same jokes. The movie did have points of a good atmosphere, I did like the darker parts, like the first fifteen minutes and the scene where he kills the b****rds from the bar, but the rest is just annoying, generic, and full of crappy ska music.

I have waited four months to see this movie -- my friends saw a sneak screening and loved it. I loved it too -- very funny! Great acting, great music -- it's a rad movie. My girlfriend liked it too so I guess it's a good date movie. I'm not sure what to compare it to -- it's just kinda or original.

After eating his beloved girlfriend, the vampire Vic Weller (Paul Popowich) admits that has a problem and joins a 12-step program called "Vampires Anonymous" to get rid of the habit of drinking human blood. He goes to a meeting and is submitted to a test, where it is determined that he should replace human by sheep blood. His sponsor Geno (Michael Madsen) and the program relocate Vic to Rock Creek, in North Caroline, where he falls in love for the local Maggie Miller (Nicole Forester). However, the disappearance of sheep attracts the attention of a vampire slayer and the police, getting Vic into trouble.

"Vampires Anonymous" is an enjoyable film, with an analogy to the AA for vampires in an original story. There is dark humor, romance and many funny situations. This movie is neither a masterpiece nor a crap, just a pleasant entertainment. My vote is six.
