Some people might not like the wacky humor that is the best part of "Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane," but I, for one, have not seen a show this clever and side-splittingly funny in a long time. I introduced it to my brother, uncle, and two cousins this summer, and they fell in love with it as well. They couldn't get enough of it, and were disappointed that there were only 13 episodes! Zoe (Selma Blair) is quirky and lovable, Jane (Azura Skye) is smart and funny, Jack (Michael Rosenbaum) is the money-loving adorable twin of Jane, and Duncan (David Moscow) is just a cute dimwit that you can't help loving. My favorite character, though, would have to be Breeny (Sara Rue--who's gone on to do the WB's "Popular".) The coolest thing about this show is that although the actors may not be teenagers (except for Azura Skye), they sure can act! These characters are just the best on TV and so is this show.
I'm Italian and I'm an huge fan of the actor Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Jack Cooper on "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane". I like him and all the stuff of this movie: it's really very amazing!!!! When I've watched it the first time I laugh all the time!!!! Jack is my favorite character because he is adorable, nice and spontaneous, I love his behavior: he's very amazing!!! keep watching this movie because it's very cool!!! I've no worlds for describe it but I know a new site devoted to Michael Rosenbaum, it's "HTTP://lexrosenbaum.motime.com" visit it!!! bye

I think that Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane was hysterical. The comedic of the actors was brilliant and the character development never lagged. The situations may have occasionally seemed unrealistic, but 1)they were different from many other shows that use the same old gags over and over, and 2) who wants to watch real life? Real life is monotonous and mundane 99.9% of the time. Even reality shows are not reality. Finally, I loved the fact that not everything in this show was about sex! there are so many shows where the only means of drawing an audience is but using nothing but blatant, tasteless innuendos. Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane does use the gags but approaches it from a much more innocent direction...something that this world needs much more of.
"Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane" is the high school-version of "Will & Grace" and "Dharma & Greg" combined. Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent show.. for teenagers. I doubt anyone beyond 25 will like it, assuming they aren't nostalgic-crazed.
Also, when I think of Selma Blair, I think "Cruel Intentions", "Legally Blonde" and "Girl" (1998), not really the kind of character she portrays as "Zoe". If you're a fan of Selma Blairs' work, you should definitely try to check this series out. You'll see a side of her that, at least I, hadn't seen before.
Those of you that tries to remember where you've seen David Moscow, "Duncan", before, I can tell you it took me a good long while before I realized it's actually "Josh" from the blockbuster-hit "Big" with Tom Hanks back in 1988. He's all grown up!

This is possibly one of the more overrated shows on the WB ever made. Take four people all of whom look in their late twenties and make them pretend to be High Schoolers and you end up with a far-fetched piece of crap.
They pretend to be "Friends" hanging out in a coffeehouse, and tredge through High school with completely annoying characters and terrible plotlines.
Zoe played by the likable and often charming Selma Blair is a cardboard cutout as the lead, and the rest of the characters are horrible... with one exception.
Micheal Rosenbaum is so-o-o-o-o funny in this show and could have been the only hope if the show would have changed direction. His comic delivery is on key and he has impeccable timing. He truly has a knack for comedy.
The show was later retooled into just "Zoe" with the same characters, except they all worked in a restaurant, but that was just as awful and it was thankfully cancelled.
Blair later redeemed herself making some good movies, and Rosenbaum redeemed himself taking a powerful turn as the young Lex Luthor in "Smallville" often stealing the scenes from other cast members with his great acting.

- CuriosidadesDuring filming of one of the early episodes, lead actress Selma Blair became so frustrated at fumbling her lines that she passed out on the set, in front of the live studio audience. The filming for the rest of the day was postponed while she recovered.
