High Tomb

Three guys and three chicks find stranded in a ghost town near the Mexican border when their car broke down. But the town it's not so desert: there is a knife-wielding ghost out there hunting for prey...

It's a very low budget movie, not so bad in fact, but neither a great movie. I don't know if there is a VHS edition of this one. I've seen it on Movieflix and it could be worth at least one vision for the horror fans out there

For a shoestring budget movie, High Tomb is pretty good. It has a story that is coherent and acting that, while not stellar, is at least bearable. I've seen far worse.

The storyline is at least creative if not totally original (and when was the last time you've seen a truly original horror movie? Except maybe "The Ring")and is carried through with a reasonable amount of competence.

The biggest drawback of this movie is it's sound quality, muffled, distorted and oft times difficult to hear. All said and done, if you like cheap horror, this one is almost worth it. Don't spend a bundle on it, but if you can find it in one of the boxed movie collections out there....20 movies for $20 sort of thing, pick it up.

Not a bad film when you consider how bad a film it could have been. Made in 1995 for no money, the film manages to not be to bad. It's a little Western Ghost story with a unique twist.

The characters are not in an old West Town, they are in an Old West Movie set for a B-Grade Western made in the 1930s.

The Acting is decent and the characters are likable, which gives the film a feeling that these people really liked working with each other and making this movie.

A better than it should be kind of movie and definitely worth a look if you don't have anything better to do.
