With an actor by the way whom I've come to learn and love in a comedy series - movies based on books. And he plays quite the funny character in them. But here he only has a small (guest) role if you want to call it that. The main focus is on Franka Potentes character and her ... well adventures. Her story and her experience - her will to achieve something and to become somebody ... she will get sidetracked and lose focus of her studies (which says something considering she says she is here to learn and not have fun) ... but it makes sense in the overall scheme of things.
Well played by all involved and a german horror movie that actually is quite scary. It has its good and bad moments of course, but overall I'd say it is more than a decent "teen-movie" effort. It may not have aged great (especially to those understanding what is being said), but it stays a really good movie overall.
No, it doesn't feature her bod, nor that of the incredibly beautiful German TV Star Anna Loos. Anna was hilarious with her "naughty" comments throughout. (As an aside, she is supposedly the lead singer of, or a member of a band called Leck mich am Arsch, which is also the name of a Mozart composition. You can have a lot of fun googling that bit of German.) She does do a song in the movie soundtrack.
She is a doctor doing some research and stumbles on an old German medical society that does autopsies on people while they are still alive, using some sort of paralyzing drug. Lots of suspense as they discover she knows who they are and come after her - sort of like Extreme Measures.
Also stars Benno Fürmann, who was in the superb Joyeux Noël, and who I am sure many will see in next year's Speed racer. Yes, it's not just Frake and Anna; there are plenty of German hunks for the ladies.

- CuriosidadesThe models used in the film were inspired by Dr. Gunther von Hagens popular exhibition "Body Works" in which real cadavers are plasticized after being dissected. One character even mentions this process when we see the hall for the first time at the beginning of the film, but no real cadavers were used as the director thought it "too macabre". The models were created by a team headed by Joachim Grüninger and Birger Laube. The models were so accurate and detailed that the film's medical advisers thought they could be used as actual teaching specimens.
- Erros de gravaçãoIschemic myocardiopathy is not a rare disease. In fact, is one of the most frequent heart diseases.

Prof. Grombek: [first words - as med student works over cadaver bare-handed] Gloves Kaminski, gloves. The lady's a study aid, not Sharon Stone.
student hecklers: Yeah, Kaminski instincts are very basic... They're more fun when they're alive.
Prof. Grombek: Alright, pipe down. That's enough for this group. Ever seen a drowning victim? Tomorrow's putrefaction day.
Paula Henning: Uh, professor? There seems to be some kind of anomaly in the pelvic region.
Prof. Grombek: A penis per chance? It's not an anomaly, it's that little boys are created differently than little girls. Can you tell me what it is?
Paula Henning: [drops the organ] Slippery is what it is.
- Cenas durante ou pós-créditosWhile the cast credits roll, 2 students are talking in the anatomy room, discussing their futures.
- Versões alternativasThe DVD features two extended scenes as supplement:
- While Hein is pulling Phil's corpse away Paula comes into the anatomy hall and almost discovers him.
- When Paula is chased by Hein and his partner, she goes into the room, where the corpses are being washed, up to a steam tube and creeps to the next room. In the extended version Hein comes into the room and extensively searches it for Paula.
