The Art of a Bullet

This is without a doubt the worst film I've ever seen. It's full of scenes that ramble on and on without any purpose. Even the most basic screenwriting technique books will tell you that every scene has to have a beginning, middle and end. The movie itself has no distinguishable plot, but it doesn't matter because you hate every single character. They drift in and out of the movie and you're like, "Oh yeah, I remember that guy, what's he doing here?" Nowhere is this more obvious than at the end. Everyone I saw leaving the screening had a look of "Huh?" on their faces.

The directing isn't bad, the performances could have used some better guidance, but the script should have been tossed immediately. If you don't have a good story, you don't have a good film.

After seeing another feature, on several cable channels, that this Director has done, I am in awe of his talent. His camera angles, his imagination are to be commended for an unknown, who obviously will be discovered and appreciated by those who know a real gift. Cruella must not get 95% of the movies "he/she" watches, as we all know that movies are using our imagination and living in fantasy while viewing a world of make believe. I certainly got the gist of the story. Of course I always search for the talent in a film, rather than the film itself. I look forward to more features by this "Great Director".

A military-traumatized man prepares to blow his brains out at his best friend's house, though plans are foiled by a home invasion of two crooks posing as cops. A lengthy, sadistic scene ends in their death, and the two friends quarrel bitterly over reporting the crime or dumping the bodies. Opting for the latter, they get into more trouble. A brutal cop investigating the crime, being a vigilante himself, decides to release the weirdo who killed the crooks. This turns out to be his last mistake.

Interesting little film, notable cinematography. Structure and intent somewhat unclear up to the end, at times even preposterous, though this sits well with the eerie, absurdist feel which runs through-out. Scenes that drag out almost hilariously, sado-masochistic powerplay and sudden emotive/dramatic breakdown also bring to mind The Absurd.
