Mumbai, Nov 26: Filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, credited for movies like "Bombay Boys" and "Boom", says his forthcoming project "Jackpot" is his effort to get a taste of the commercial zone of cinemae.

"If I may say so, then yes, 'Jackpot' is a conscious effort to make a commercial film and to get into that zone. I have not made a film like this before. It is different from my previous films," Gustad told Ians.

It is after a decade that the filmmaker is back in business. He says he was busy with his family all this while.

"I was busy with my personal life, my family, and I was also writing scripts. I think this is the right time for me (to be back)," he said.

Mumbai, Aug 6: Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah says he loves to play the evil guy in films as he feels that characters with a nicer streak can be very boring to portray on screen.

In new film "Jackpot", the actor plays an evil character -- and he admits that it is "the kind of character I love to do".

"I personally love my performances in 'Bombay Boys' and 'Mirch Masala'. It's fun to play such characters. It's very boring to play the nice guy and I only like to play that role in real life," the 63-year-old said on the set of "Jackpot".

"Jackpot" also stars Sachiin Joshi and Indo-Canadian porn star-turned-actress.

Mumbai, August 2: Indo-Canadian adult film actress Sunny Leone, who was seen in a dare-bare role in Bollywood film "Jism 2", has shot a bold scene with actor Sachin Joshi for new film "Jackpot"

They are in Goa to shoot the film, and Sachin guarantees that the bold scene has been well-shot.

"We shot for a bold sequence, and now I would like to leave it to the audience. I am not allowed to talk much about that scene. I can assure you it is shot aesthetically and it doesn't look vulgar," Sachin told Ians.

The film is directed by Kaizad Gustad, who made the 1998 film "Bombay Boys", followed by "Boom" in 2003.

Kaizad Gustad is back now directing a film entitled Jackpot with Sachiin Joshi and Sunny Leone in the lead. Sunny, her fans would be happy to hear, would be speaking her own Hindi lines in the film.

Revealing details, Kaizad says, "It's not a romantic film, and my lead pair Sachiin Joshi and Sunny Leone do not run off to sing songs in the rain. It's a full crime thriller shot in the backwaters of Goa on board a floating casino boat done in the style of the noire films in the 1920s and 30s, very dark and moody. Everyone is trying to con everyone else. Sunny Leone plays a femme fatale."

The entire film is set in Goa during the rains. Says Kaizad excitedly, "We've never seen Goa in a noire-ish laidback and lazy and yet frantic."

Naseeruddin Shah with whom Kaizad last worked in Bombay Boys is back in Jackpot.

For the first time the filmmaker talks about his six-year legal and moral battle and his comeback film "Jackpot".
