Okay, so this movie isn't for everyone. It's funny in it's own way, but nothing that would ever win an award. I wouldn't tell you to watch it for the chics because there are plenty of ways to see Jenna Jameson without any clothes on short of watching this movie. Honestly, her scene is brief and comical - as it should be in this movie. The movie even makes fun of itself, so I would say go in to it with an open mind and you won't be disappointed. I would highly recommend you use a free rental on it rather than paying for it, and only do it if you can't find anything else to watch.

Overall, probably gets a four or five out of 10. It's mildly amusing, but looks like it was filmed on a home video camera.

Oh man, this s-u-c-k-e-d sucked.... I couldn't even get any camp value out of this......and I sat through the whole thing on Showtime.... Don't bother waiting around for the 'naked' scenes either.....it's too late and only plastic Jenna Jameson is involved.. Shows how much discretionary cash must be laying around Hollywood just to get your name on the closing credits.. I guess Showtime had to throw something in at 1am... Next time I think I'd even rather be watching ESPN loop around every 30 minutes...

There is also just about 20 minutes too long in the Dirt Merchant to keep my attention and I blame that on the lack of creative writing. The acting for this B movie was more than acceptable by Danny Masterson, David Faustino, David DeLuise, Julie Benz and Jenna Jameson. The plot was also decent but I just felt that the movie dragged on far too long to the point of time when I just didn't care who was responsible for the tongue in (someone's) cheek campy murder of the rock star.

Knowing this was a B movie rating I still give it a decent 6 out of 10 rating. It won't make anyone appearing in this film an award winning actor/actress but I would find a new script writer who knew how to edit.

I give the Dirt Merchant a 6 out of 10 rating

This was a very well scripted movie. Great fun if you just want a stupid film. Not great production value (ok, the sound really sucked) but the performance of Danny Masterson more than makes up for it.

Watch this movie and laugh out loud!

Excellent writing and wild cast. The tech is poor but it's obviously very low budget. Looks like they didn't cut the negative but had to release on a video output. In any case one of the most inventive comedies I've seen lately. The screenwriter in particular is fine.

I Caught This Movie On T.V. Last Night And You Know Danny Masterson Was A Pretty Good Actor In The Film, And Its Great To See Him In Something Other Than That 70s Show. The Film Isnt Rated But In My Opinion I Would Rate It (R) Just Because Of The Nudity And Plenty Of Adult Content. But All In All I Loved It, I Thought That Dirt's Wisecracks were pretty funny. Its Just Basically About A Guy Who Has No Job, Girlfriend, Or Money And Eventually Gets A Job As A Private Investigator (more of a messenger really.)He Gets Framed For The Murder Of A Rock Star And The Rock Stars Girlfriend Is One Of The People That Really Need To Help Him Out. I Give It....*** 3 Stars.

I was up late one night, and was flipping through the channels to find something on. Well, as I was doing so, I caught a glimpse of David Faustino. I was shocked to see Bud Bundy in a movie! So I decided to watch to see what this was. Well, even though it had Anthony Michael Hall, Danny Masterson, and one of the DeLuise brothers in it, this movie was terrible. This is one of those movies that make you wonder how they tricked the cast into being in it, shoot, this is one of those movies that make you wonder how they got funded! Try to avoid this movie, it makes you ponder why you were suckered out of 85 precious minutes of your life and not have a parting gift or anything for compensation. Well, It DOES have Jenna Jameson in it, and she does show her chest in it, but I'm sure she has better movies that you can see them and more... LOL!
