I actually suffered through 10 minutes of this thinking that it might get better.... Please do yourself a favor, and don't bother watching this.

Unless you enjoy intolerably bad movies, your time is better spent anywhere else.

And I do mean ANYWHERE.

It is hard to believe that any of these actors who participated in this movie did not get banned from the business permanently. It certainly is a black mark on their careers in my opinion.

So, what was wrong with this movie? Poor Acting. Bad Jokes. Bad Plot.

What is good about this movie? You don't have to watch it.

I found this movie absolutely great.

It was fantastic. I was very tired and unable to sleep at 4 in the morning, so I put on Nobody Knows Anything.

Not even halfway through, did I feel the excitement...there it was...

Me - wanting to go to sleep.

This movie is perfect for wanting to go to bed.

If you've never tried this as a sleep remedy - you should really try watching this movie without closing your eyes.

This is why I rated this film so highly...I gave it a two - because it helped me go to sleep.

An American trying to make an alternative comedy with more sophisticated humor. ... and that's where it went wrong. A fine idea to do something different with comedy ended up in a nightmare. Can't blame him for trying something fresh though.

Looks like the director hit the ball totally wrong here so I think he'd better stick to brainless Hollywood comedy. It's even better to have some lame old jokes than.

But after 50 min we just stopped watching in order not to lose our good mood.

It's not only in the wrong aspect ratio, but the audio goes in and out of sync throughout the movie. Somebody absolutely butchered the authoring job on this. The movie was pretty good, if you're into satires of the industry. Unbelievably insane casting. Somebody knew somebody who called in a lot of favors. I can only assume no one got paid on this, because no one can afford this cast (and there are more in the extra). Side note: Ben Stiller is front and center on the cover, and he has exactly one line in the film. I don't even recognize the two ladies in bikinis who flank him. The lead actress (Alanna Ubach) is drop-dead gorgeous. I'll have to see what else she's in.

I thought this movie was loads of fun, though seeing the reviews I guess it's not for people who don't enjoy low-key send-ups of the entertainment business. This movie is like seeing all those situations and people that are usually stuck in here and there in a big action flick (or The Simpsons) to get in a slam to Hollywood culture, all strung together, but instead of being tongue-in-cheek, relentlessly sincere. Maybe the bad reviews reflect that it hasn't attracted its audience because of the way they marketed it -- they should be trying to get a Woody Allen crowd, perhaps? The cast is made up of extremely talented comedy stars and well-known character actors, each one bigger than the last, who play their characters so low-key and real. So much so, that the little ironies don't seem set up, they seem accidental like they should be but never are in comedy films. And a big surprise to me was how entertaining Margaret Cho was, as I'm not a huge fan of her stand-up.
