Wow, this popped up on YouTube, I initially wondered if it was something for Children in need, but delving deeper it seemed to be a mini series presented by The BBC to help get people fit.
What a way to get a message out, The Brittas Empire was massive, it was watched by millions, Gordon Brittas was instantly recognisable.
There's some really good content here, it's a series that really does offer up some good messages in a light hearted manner, it doesn't preach at you, it informs.
The BBC is going through something of a crisis right now, people forget that at one point it was a truly trusted and impartial source of information.
It's great to see Chris Barrie as Brittas and lovely to see other characters from the show popping up.
Two points of interest, why has The Brittas Empire seemingly vanished out of existence? Secondly, who knew Chris Barrie would rock a leotard?
Obscure, but fun.
