Winged

I watched wings on a late night space channel broadcast. It is only a half hour long and would qualify for and episode of the twilight zone or outer limits. For 1997 the cgi was decent considering it was an independent production. It is interesting to see what can be produced for a half hour production.

This is a very entertaining, sci-fi suspense thriller in a short film format. It's better than you expect it to be and leaves you longing for more of the same. Of course, had the movie itself went on longer, it might have overstayed its welcome. As it is, I consider it a pretty damned good effort.

Unfortunately Winged is only 30 minutes long. It's sort of like the Cliff notes of a terrific SciFi story.

A young man's father is heading up a research facility in orbit around Mars. Now he won't return so the young man is sent there to bring him back.

This flick has some terrific twists and surprises as well as some decent action. I gave it a 10.
