Roger Cormans 2nd remake of the 1957 version this one was made for showtime as part of the Roger Corman presents showtime series which included the banal Vampirella movie . This time its Micheal York as the bloodsucking alien who needs treatment and employs a nurse for daily blood treatment the nurse played by Elizabeth Barrodes . And the ex con butler is played by Richard Belzer . And the motorcycle cop boy friend of the nurse is played by Parker Stevenson , yes one half of the hardy boys .snd Mason Adam's as Dr Richelle . Really odd casting for this rather bland remake . I prefer the one with Traci Lords from 1988 .
