A follow up the critically-unacclaimed Night Eyes (1990) we see Andrew Stevens return as security guard Will Griffith, a man who has the habit of falling for women he's paid to protect.
This time him and his buddy Tim "Tuvok" Russ are hired to protect a Presidential candidate and his wife from terrorist attacks. But is everything as it seems and can Will resist the potential future first lady?
Starring "Erotic" thriller veteran Shannon Tweed this is your copy and paste thriller stuff with generic characters, some (But oddly little) sexual encounters and a couple of entirely predictable twists.
Arguably this is on par with the first movie, but that's really not saying much. To its credit some of the supporting cast are passable and it's nice to see Stevens returning as the same character. Sadly these things can't make up for just how "Made for TV" the whole thing is, it fails as a thriller and will have even disappointing horny teenagers who rented it for the bewbs.
It is what it is.
The Good:
Harmless enough stuff
The Bad:
I hate cheating protagonists
Very generic stuff
Fails to even accomplish what you'd expect for its genre

Oh yes, and who do we have? Of course. Andrew Stevens and Shannon Tweed. This time, Stevens, the opposite to who he played in The Seduction, owns a big security business. His ship comes in, for him and his new partner/long time friend, when they're are offered to set up survelllance inside a wealthy mansion of a Albanian politician and his sexy wife (Tweed) , where they install everything except audio, of course. Tweed and hubby. Who of course aren't happy (well Tweed isn't, for hubby not holding up his end of the bargain in the bedroom) evade a close assassination outside their palace, prefore. They have a shady security guy who works for em', who took out the perp. Could he be involved? Duh. Of course, we have a few erotic scenes, and a cliche'd one of footsies, under the dinner table with another Stevens attracted female. A funny trademark scene, which is a bit stupid, takes place in a library, between Steven and Tweed, behind a book shelf, where a middle aged dorky bookworm is ogling Tweed, who has a beaming satisfied smile. There are some really not happening or why happening scenes in the film, a few flat moments. It's just so predictable, from the word go, where we can only be thankful for the sex and Steven's appearance. 3.5/10.
While arriving at their mansion in Los Angeles, Vice-Consul Hector Mejenes (Richard Chaves) and his wealthy wife Marilyn Mejenes (Shannon Tweed) survive to an assassination attempt protected by his bodyguard Luis (Geno Silva). Marilyn requests protection to Detective Turner (John O'Hurley) and he recommends the security company of Will Griffith (Andrew Stevens). Soon Griffith and his partner Jesse Younger (Tim Russ) are hired by Hector to work under the supervisionof Luis. Hector sexually neglects his wife Marilyn and soon they have a love affair. But soon they find dirty secrets about Luis.
"Night Eyes II" uses the same character Will Griffith, performed by Andrew Stevens, in this erotic thriller. In the first movie, it was a sort of erotic neo-noir film and sexy Tanya Roberts was the femme-fatale in a reasonable story. Now, the gorgeous and sexy Shannon Weed performs a neglected wife with many hidden secrets about her husband. The plot, as usual, has many flaws and is silly but Shannon Tweed makes this B-movie worthwhile watching with her lovely face, eyes and body. My vote is five.

Night Eyes II is another one of those movies filled with erotica that I like many others will watch many times to view the sexy and hot Shannon Tweed. This is one of the early works of Tweed and one of her sexy movies of all-time. Shannon stars as the unhappy wife of a wealthy diplomat who starts up a hot and passionate love affair with a security expert (Andrew Stevens) who's hired to protect her. Andrew is a lucky man. I hope most of you all know that Shannon Tweed is the fantasy of every man! It's proven by watching Night Eyes II watch and see for yourself.
Shannon Tweed, who is of course incomparably better that Tanya Roberts (the star of the first "Night Eyes") in every possible way, spices up this erotic thriller that is a sequel only in the sense that Andrew Stevens plays the same character. Tweed has some really steamy workout scenes, and her sex scenes are very well-photographed, but eventually get a little boring through overlength. The plot is minimal, though the film tries to "pump up" the thriller aspect in the last 20 minutes, by including some unexpectedly brutal and raw violence. (**)
