I have seen this Movie, The song TAMA TAMA LOGE TAMA was the 1st kind of digitally composed on electronic equipment instead of manually, It is the 2nd movie Jeetendra & Sanjay Dutt came together after Zahreley, Jeetendra is a Police Officer Avinash while Sanjay Dutt plays a thief role It is the similar story Dharmendra starer Pritigiya. Jeetendra in a central role & heading the entire cast & Sanjay Dutt share more screen role, Kiran Kumar as Vallian perfectly he has done his role, Madhuri Dixit also done justification to her role, Jaya Prada done her best, Sanjay Dutt excel in job & shown his acting skills & above all Jeetendra done his job very perfectly % proved that he is the all rounder even though his appearance is less than Sanjay Dutt, But in the climax he was there kills Vallian Kiran Kumar means he is the main central character. Movie is worth watching for Jeetendra performance as well as Sanjay Dutt & songs were also good

Watched this movie after a very very close family friend recommended, finished after several sittings ! Thoroughly enjoyed the movie, Tamma Tamma song FTW !!

Jeetendra's acting, Jayaprada screen presence, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit fully carry the movie. Music by Bappi Lahri is top of the line !

I saw this film when i was young, it was a true entertainer. Sanjay dutt it one great actor who could do from action to serious drama and comedy. Jeetendra is not too bad, even though he makes similar movies all the time. The two actresses Madhuri look damn sexy as usual. Jayepradha is not too bad. Thanedaar is a typical olden day bollywood film about the child who witnesses his father get killed and wants revenge. He ends up being separated from his elder brother. This film has enough comedy and action to keep you entertained. A movie with a good director that has made good films in the past. Thanedaar has some good music too especially the tamma tamma song.
