Pamela Anderson says she was given some helpful advice before filming The Naked Gun remake.

The 58-year-old actress said that Priscilla Presley, who starred in 1988′s The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! and the subsequent two films in the franchise, gave her some helpful advice on filming the remake.

Pamela spoke to People at the UK premiere for The Naked Gun on Tuesday (July 22).

“She reached out to me,” Pamela said of 80-year-old Priscilla. “And she said, ‘Have fun with it. Don’t be afraid to be silly.’ It’s good advice.”

Pamela also talked about working with her co-star, Liam Neeson and said, “He’s so silly and goofy, and so am I, so we got along great on and off camera.”

The Naked Gunreboot runtime has been announced, and it's safe to say that the team behind Paramount Pictures' upcoming legacy sequel understood the assignment. Liam Neeson will have just enough time to pack in the gags as Lt. After waiting for what feels like forever, aged action icon and Taken star Liam Neeson will finally take the lead in a reboot of the beloved comedy The Naked Gun next month. While we continue to wait for the movie to hit theaters with what will no doubt be a hilarious gut-punch, the reboot/legacy sequel (reblequel?) the first reaction to Neeson’s long-awaited action comedy has now arrived courtesy of a modern comedy icon.

Speaking recently with ScreenRant, former Saturday Night Live alum and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg has offered a positively glowing review of The Naked Gun, which has been helmed by Samberg’s fellow Lonely Island member Akiva Schaffer. Revealing that, sadly, The Lonely Island does not make an appearance, and admitting his bias, Samberg called The Naked Gun “pure joy.”

We tend to think that the movies of the 1980s are constantly mined for franchises.
