During the chase scene with Cordell you can see that Cordell has both hands gloved in some scenes, and just one in the other scenes. You also see the missing glove being found in Sally's purse.

During final chase scene the Chevrolet Malibu police cruiser goes from a '79 to an '80 and back again. The SWAT van is also a Chevy Step Van until it goes in the drink - then it becomes an International Harvester Metro Van.

At 37:37, McRae arrives and starts shooting at the killer, He fires 3 shots, and the slide on his Beretta, which holds 15 rounds, locks back, on an empty magazine. He drops the gun, and picks it up, and the slide is no longer locked back.

When the body of the first victim is lying in the morgue, one of her feet twitches.

When Theresa is trying to escape Cordell, the corpse of the police sergeant he's just stabbed helpfully moves out of the way so that she can throw a stool through the window.

Mountains and even a palm tree are visible in the background of a few shots during the chase scene near the end which is supposed to take place in New York City. They were obviously shot in Los Angeles.

Despite taking place in New York City, one scene takes place beneath an Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway bridge. The AT&SF never had railroad lines in the Eastern United States, in fact they never had lines anywhere east of Chicago.

It is explained that the severe beating/stabbing Cordell received while in prison caused him to lose "all higher brain function(s)". How does this make him impervious to gunshots and other injuries? This might make him unable to feel pain, but any injuries should eventually take their toll.
