Sonny Montelli: [Possessed] I told you, you'd have to leave.
Father Adamsky: You want to destroy, this boy's life?

Mr. Booth, the Lawyer: [at the Montelli trial] ... Your Honor, it is my intention to prove that Sonny Montelli is a victim of demonic possession - that is, possession by the Devil - and therefore innocent of the charges placed against him.
Judge: Mr. Booth, I admire your originality. If I accept your plea, regardless of verdict, every courtroom in this country would be inundated with pleas of demonic possession. Nobody would be guilty of anything anymore. Quite literally, "The Devil made me do it." You have three days to submit another plea, Mr. Booth.

Demons' Voice: [through Sonny's cassette player] Why didn't you pull the trigger? Why didn't you shoot that pig?

Dolores Montelli: [Anthony removes his belt, from his pants] Anthony, You can't do that. You can't do that, to the kids, no.
Jan Montelli: [Looking terrified] But daddy, it was the brushes, we didn't do it!
Anthony Montelli: Mark, you think, that's funny, huh?
[Smacks him with the belt]
Dolores Montelli: [Mark and Jan, running away screaming] WHAT ARE YOU DOING, HE CAN'T EVEN WRITE?
Anthony Montelli: What about her?
Dolores Montelli: DON'T TOUCH HER, DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!
Anthony Montelli: YOU FUCKIN' CUNT, YOU RUINED THIS HOUSE, GET OUTTA MY WAY!
Dolores Montelli: YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!
[Anthony, smacks her, and storms out of the kids room]
Dolores Montelli: Kill you, I'll kill you, you...
[Growls in frustration]
Anthony Montelli: [Yelling at Jan] Where's your sister? You had somethin', to do with this?
[Delores, slashes his face, to prevent him from doing further damage]
Anthony Montelli: NO!
Dolores Montelli: You stop It!
Anthony Montelli: That's funny?
[Hitting Delores, with the belt]
Anthony Montelli: You think that's funny?
[Continues, belting Delores]

Dolores Montelli: You're a big man! Don't you hit 'em!

Anthony Montelli: JESUS H. CHRIST! WHAT DO YOU KIDS THINK THIS IS... A PLAYGROUND?
Jan Montelli: [crying] We didn't do it! We didn't do it!
Anthony Montelli: DON'T YOU LIE TO ME!
[he slaps Jan]
Father Adamsky: Please, don't hit the child.
Anthony Montelli: Mister, this is none of your business! You hear that? I raise my children the way I see fit! Go do what you got to do, then go!

Sonny Montelli: [Possessed] You decided, to do this on your own. Without the support, of the church. You're disobeying, the church. Now, you're alone, Adamsky

Jan Montelli: [putting a plastic bag, over Mark's head] You're dead! You're dead.
Mark Montelli: You're scaring me, I can't breathe!
Jan Montelli: It's like, a movie.
[removes the bag from Mark's head]
Jan Montelli: Don't worry, it's okay. Here, you can give the glass.
[kisses Mark]
Jan Montelli: I love you.

Patricia Montelli: I think Mommy doesn't want to make love to Daddy anymore. I think he tries to force her.
