A Mulher Invisível

Ironically, I did not like Bob Denver's TV series, Gilligan's Island, at all, but here as the Uncle for The Invisible Woman, I feel that the casting choice was quite appropriate for his role as Dudley Plunkett.

Alexa Hamilton was also fun, portraying as she did the protagonist who felt embarrassed and nonplussed at her bizarre situation.

Reluctant at first but then encouraged by her Uncle Dudley, she quickly accepts and even realizes the advantages of invisibility, especially with regard to her journalistic career.

The main appeal for myself here is the special effects. Especially impressive is the bathtub scene where we can see the soap suds eerily suspended around an invisible body. Quite realistic. Another favorite scene for me is the action of applying the makeup that restores her face to normal visibility as well as the scene in the car where she removes the makeup. Quite realistic to see her face disappear bit by bit.

Pilot movie for a sit-com which never appeared, if you pardon the pun. Alexa Hamilton stars as a perky cub reporter who becomes invisible accidentally. With no way to make herself visible again, she resorts to make-up and a wig to fill in the parts not covered by her clothes to appear normal. She uses her new abilities to solve a series of art thefts which have plagued the city's galleries. There are some nice touches in this movie, including a scene were we see an "outline" of Sandy in a men's steam room. The comedy isn't always superb but the video effects are more than adequate for this film.

I think the television movie is excellent. I strongly agree with this movie and I loved it so much. It may have some humorous parts. Apparently this made for television movie has not been released on DVD and Blu Ray. I hope they can add surrounding sound effects that can be heard in Dolby Digital Surround Sound.I approve the movie all the time and it is a terrific idea to have this made for television movie on DVD and Blu-Ray with enhanced digital video effects. This made for television movie is 27 years old in 2010. There should also be on DVD and Blu-Ray with audio commentary featuring director Alan J. Levi and Alexa (Alexandra) Hamilton. The best part of the movie shows Alexa (Alexandra) Hamilton putting on pantyhose is the best part I have ever seen in my entire life. I think Megan Fox; Jessica Simpson; Paris Hilton; Carmen Electra; Kirsten Dunst; Renee Zellweger or Anne Hathaway would love to have the role as the invisible woman.
