Mumbai, July 2: Actor Suniel Shetty, who plays a film director in his next release "Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai", says he has no plans to go behind the camera in real life, especially after his unsuccessful stint as a producer.

"I didn't become a good, successful producer... and a director, I don't think so," the 50-year-old actor said here.

Gautam Menon’s bilingual (Tamil/Telugu) masterpiece Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Vtv) and Yeh Maaya Chesave (Ymc) is finally being re-made in Hindi as Ekk Deewana Tha with Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson as the leads. The music of Vtv/Ymc, composed by A R Rahman, was given as epic a status if not more than the movie.
