The immigrants

One of the best serries I ever saw. It sucks that you can't find it anywhere. I would even purchase the serries. If anyone knows where I can find it I would love to see it again. It's amazing that you can't find this serries when it was so good.

I saw it many years ago and have never seen it again. If anyone knows where I can find it please let me know. I saw it in the 70's so I don't think you could record it then. I grew up in San Francisco and a lot of the show was from there. It was so real and the actors were all amazing. If you know of any other movies or mini serries about immigrants I would love to see them also.

Liked this movie very much

I enjoyed the movie, "The Immigrants" very much. It is one of the best films Steven Macht ever played in. He played Daniel so well. The book is equally good. If you can't see the movie, at least read the book (it's actually a trilogy). The movie has an excellent story line and the actors were very good in their parts. I am intrigued with the era when so many immigrants came to America to search for their fortunes. I believe it was hard to make that big of a decision then when you did, it would be fantastic if/when you did make your fortune like Daniel did. But in the end he gave up his fortune for happiness. Wish I could get the movie and see it again.

I want this miniseries badly. The best TV mini-series ever

Does anyone have a recording of this wonderful mini-series? I had it on vhs but it was destroyed in a house fire. Can anyone make a copy for me? I will gladly pay for it. -Dale Richardson.

Great movie serries I would love to see it again Can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it? I saw it many years ago and never saw it again. Would love to buy the serries.
