Moderately interesting mini-series based on the best seller of the same name. A tale of three women in the '60's, the mini-series is perhaps best remembered for the network accidently showing the series out of order. The public did notice so we can safely assume the story was holding everyone's attention. Season Hubley at her loveliest.

Actually, I loved the book and have written to the author, Sara Davidson. She wrote me back...very sweet. I remember seeing this movie on TV in 1978 for about an hour. Because I enjoyed the book a great deal, I was interested in the show. I would love to see the entire miniseries. Any ideas how this might be possible? I do remember that Christina Rains was in the movie and she was wonderful as the lead character. She was well cast in that role and totally matched the character from the book. I don't recall much else but am very interested in hearing what others remember. Sara Davidson did let me know that she was not too happy with the way the miniseries came off. I was much younger then, so I don't know what I would think now. Still want to find a copy. Probably on Beta! I am open for suggestions. Thank you, Ogam
