In the European village of Gudenberg in 1890, Prof. John Mayer and his assistant, Dr. Isabel Reed, have created a powerful ray machine. One of the rays is shot into outer space and attracts a flying saucer. The alien pilot decides that the ray poses too great of a threat to the universe and must be destroyed. Thomas, a sex maniac and serial killer, is possessed by an alien intelligence and infiltrates Mayer's household; later, Mayer himself is also possessed by an alien intelligence. Dr. Paul Rosten, a young chemist who is in love with Mayer's niece Laura, arrives. The alien-controlled "Mayer" and "Thomas" rig the ray gun to explode, killing all who know its secret. Thomas kills Reed, but before he can kill Laura, Mayer frees himself from the alien intelligence's control and Laura is saved. Mayer then realizes that the ray is too powerful for human use and destroys it. The flying saucer departs.—Anonymous

Near the end of the 19th century, Prof. John Mayer and his assistant, the scientist Dr. Isabel Reed, accidentally invent a powerful ray. An alien travels to Earth to destroy the machine since it would be a threat to the universe. He initially possesses the mind of Thomas, a sex maniac and serial killer, to get close to Mayer during the demonstration of the machine to scientists and the military. Mayer's niece, Laura, meets an acquaintance of her uncle, the chemist Dr. Paul Rosten, and Mayer invites him to join the research. When Thomas gets close to Mayer, the alien also possesses his mind in order to destroy the device and his notes. In the late 1800s, Boris Karloff has discovered a way to use nuclear power. He creates a beam weapon and blows up a big rock. Aliens from outer space are scared and one alien who looks a lot like James Cameron with a big fake nose (only this one is not fake) lands on Earth and brings other aliens who possess the minds of both Karloff and a Jack the Ripper-style serial killer who has committed a few nasty murders that have riled up the townsfolk. The possessed men become radioactive and start killing flowers and other things (but do not die themselves) and some stuff happens. In the end, Karloff destroys the beam weapon along with his laboratory and his house, then the aliens leave and warn us that if anyone ever does it again, there will be trouble.—J. T.
