Ronnie Schell was playing a private on Fuzileiro das Arábias (1964) and quit to do this series. After it was canceled he went back to "Gomer Pyle" and got a promotion to corporal.
Original cast was Roddy McDowall and Sharon Farrell. Then Ron Rifkin replaced McDowell and then Rifkin and Farrell were fired.
