I have no idea as to how I found a video copy of this real tough to find "blaxploitation" picture, but it was highly involving for its time, and it appeared to have set the stage for further movies based on the genre, like Super Fly and Shaft. This one's on a more "educational" level as opposed to pure movie theater entertainment, but it fairly resembles some of today's urban dramas. It's a rare find!
