- Congregation: [singing] Amen!
- Negro: Mr. Taylor, Mr. Brent, we are a peaceful people. We don't kill our enemies. We get our enemies to kill each other.

- Cornelius: [reads from the holy scripts] "Beware the beast man, for he is the devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home, and yours. Shun him... for he is the harbinger of death."
- John Brent: [indicating Nova] She can't help you. She can't even talk! Don't harm her.

- Cornelius: If you are caught by the gorillas, you must remember one thing.
- John Brent: What's that?
- Cornelius: Never to speak!
- John Brent: What the hell would I have to say to a gorilla?
- Mendez: [praying] The heavens declare the glory of the Bomb, and the firmament showeth His handiwork.
- John Brent: [Dr. Zira pours a powder on Brent's wound] Ow! What is that damn stuff?
- Dr. Zira: You wouldn't know if I told you. Just relax. Among other things, I'm a trained vet.
- John Brent: [to a sleeping Nova] Are you... what we were... before we learned to talk and made a mess of everything?
- Taylor: [his final words to Dr. Zaius] You... bloody... bastard!
- [reaches out to activate the doomsday bomb as he falls]
- Taylor: [Nova is gunned down by a gorilla] Nova? Nova!
- [taking her hand as she dies]
- Taylor: Ahhh.. god... should let 'em all die. The gorillas... every damn... look what it comes to... it's time it was finished... finished.
- John Brent: [urgently] Taylor, come on. Come on. The bomb!
