In 1900 two British Egyptologists, Sir Giles Dalrymple (Jack Gwillim) and John Bray (Ronald Howard), along with French Professor Eugene Dubois (Bernard Rebel) and his linguist-specialist daughter, Bray's fiancée Annette Dubois (Jeanne Roland), are thrilled when they discover the tomb of Egyptian Prince Ra-Antef. Against the warnings of Egyptian governmental agent Hashmi Bay (George Pastell), the mummy is shipped by American showman Alexander King (Fred Clark) to England for tour and display. When they open the sarcophagus for a select audience, however, they find that the tomb is empty, suggesting that the mummy has either been stolen or, according to legend, come to life to seek revenge on those who would desecrate its tomb. Both are true.
The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb is based on a screenplay by British film-maker Michael Carreras who also directed.
