It's thought that lead actor Carlos Thompson fell ill towards the end of the filming block, being replaced by John Turner.
Ivor Slaney's signature tune for the series, "Carlos' Theme", was reworked as a vocal track for Joy Marshall, "When You Hold Me Tight" (Decca Records, F.11863) in 1964, with lyrics by Marcel Stellman.
