A young aristocrat (Tieri) disappointed in love enlists himself in the foreign legion with his butler (Totò) senti in search of him and, after a series of misunderstandings, mistaken for the rebel sheik's son instead. Borrowed partly from Valentino's the Son of the Sheik and "Atlantis" by Tallas, it is commonly considered one of the most successful parody among those interpreted by the legendary Neapolitan comedian. Most of his trademark jokes here ("beer and sausages", "look how beautiful Omar...", "this damn African sun!"). In the cast, two stars of Italian theatre, Aroldo Tieri and Arnoldo Foà and a really beautiful and seductive Tamara Lees as the Queen Antinea with the deadly kiss.
