Marion Michael was the second German actress to appear nude on film, after Hildegard Knef when she starred in the German film The Sinner (1951).

DCA's U.S. poster proclaimed Marion Michael as "Germany's answer to BRIGITTE BARDOT."

In the United Kingdom, this was released as part of a pre-packaged double feature with the British nudist camp film "Nudist Paradise" (1959) (known in the United states under the milder title "Nature's Paradise" (1960)).

Marion Michael was discovered at a talent contest and subsequently promoted as the 'German Brigitte Bardot'. Her dark hair was eventually dyed blonde and she was refused acting classes to maintain her 'naturalness'. She attained a measure of fame as a 'female Tarzan' in the two Liane, Jungle Goddess movies.
