In Chicago, it aired Saturday 10 April 1948, the first feature film to be offered by freshly launched WGN (Channel 9). In Lowell MA (serving the Boston Area) its first telecast took place Friday 10 September 1948 on WBZ (Channel 4); it was first aired in Baltimore Sunday 23 January 1949 on WMAR (Channel 2).
