Dave Glass did his best to restore this two-reel Sennett short. Alas, despite all his efforts, and all that was left was ten minutes. That's about one reel. Billy Bevan's part as a burglar is missing. Still, what's left is good on its own terms, even if you don't care for Ben Turpin.
The set-up of the first half is that Ben runs a bakery with his girlfriend, Phyllis Haver and the lazy. Kewpie Morgan. The gags abound in typical Sennett fashion, and some are quite good, including a sequence in which the two men chase each other through the corridors that Friz Freleng would lift for his cartoons a quarter of a century later. The second half takes place in a night club.
