De Volta aos Dinossauros

Everything that can be lame in a movie is lame here. Acting, script, special effects, even for a kids movie is so poorly done and dumb that's almost offensive. The director and screenwriter treated everyone as if they were mentally challenged. This was not just a waste of time, was a slow and painful experience which should be used as a torture method in Guantánamo or any other horrible place where humans are sent to perish.

If you want to punish your children so they never misbehave again, just make them watch this movie. If your husband or wife cheated and no kind of revenge seems enough, just make them watch this.

Jason is a talkative opinionated young boy living with his uncle. His parents are presumed dead, but he insists that they are only missing. One night, he encounters an alien and escapes into its spaceship. He finds teen girl Lara already hiding inside. Somehow, they activate the ship which turns out to be a time-travel machine.

The boy is too precocious to the point of being annoying. They are definitely going for Spy Kids. The CGI is not the most advanced although it's passable. It's budget special effects. The set design for the spaceship is too plastic. This movie seems to be made by Aristomenis Tsirbas, some guy from Montreal doing all the big jobs. It kinda feels like it. The guy has some technical skills, some limited story telling skills, and a fraction of a blockbuster budget. Depending on how much this actually costs, this could be a good little flick.
