Rameshan Oru Peralla

Watched the movie..I like to comment on Manikandan and his brilliance in depicting the character Rameshan. I did not see a super human in lead role, usual masalas, fight scenes, branded actors, unbelievable climax. But a very subtle portrayal of a man struggling to build up his family life. The flaws in judiciary, how it affects the dreams and life of a common man is very relevant to the current political realm. Manikandan's acting is outstanding, direction and cinematography are superb. The movie will never disappoint you. It's worth watching.

Very nice movie, which clearly depicts the life of an online taxi driver. It shows how the system turns against a common man, while untouched for the elites. Manikandan pattambi is at his best. Nice trending songs. Good work from the director. A worth movie to watch..

I live in Canada and watched this at the Indian Film Festival in Edmonton. The direction and everything overall is spectacular. I'm from Thiruvanthapuram, Kerala so I'm very familiar of the settings in this movie. The cinematography and story line by Sujith is superb. Manikandan, the actor who played Ramesh (the main character) acted beyond our expectations. The songs are very memorable and the people who sang have a melodious voice. Even though it's not a big budget film, all the money that was spent and all the hard work that went into is worth it, those two hours were all worth it.

My family and I had the opportunity to watch Rameshan Oru Peralla at the Indian Film Festival in Edmonton, Canada. My first initial thoughts going in to watch the movie were "I hope this won't be boring." By the end of the movie, I was blown away and honestly felt like this deserves a standing ovation. When leaving, I kept thinking to myself " That was the best movie I have seen in a while." Rameshan Oru Peralla is one of those exceptional movies that upholds the great Indian film title. Considering movies that come out nowadays, it's quite rare to find a movie that you wish to rewatch over and over again, but this is one for sure. The simplicity and comedy in the beginning, it led the way to a truth that is usually hidden from the public. This story line of Ramesh; a very sincere, new online taxi driver being pulled into this world of recklessness, lies, and police brutality, I felt myself tearing up while watching. The realism coming from all the actors, it was truly breathtaking. At some points it felt like I was watching this person experience this in real life. There are more points in this movie that needs to be rewarded, such as the songs and cinematography. The director, Sujith Vigneshwar, certainly wrote a story line and filmed it in a way that will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you for giving us the pleasure of seeing Rameshan Oru Peralla. Watched the movie with family. All of us enjoyed irrespective of age. First half which depicts the character and flaws of Rameshan was very convincing, performance of Manikantan Patambi was outstanding. Though the climax is not justifying flow of the cinema, overall it is entertainer and must watch movie.
