After Met You

Describes the rough yet lovely experience of figuring out who you are as a teenager. Ari's casual bet to date Ara, who isn't interested, turns into a touching look at young love and personal growth. The movie does a great job of showing how Ari's initial arrogance turns into vulnerability as he deals with his family problems and real affections for Ara. The chemistry between the main characters seems real, especially when Ara questions Ari's limited vision of the world. Some plot lines, like the DJ producer connection, seem a little forced, but the emotional foundation of this lovely Indonesian teen drama stays strong throughout.

The storyline actually is quite classic. but the cast did good acting so I keep enjoyed the movie. and also it has Good OST performed by the casts.

Instead of being a "manic pixie dream girl," Ara is a fully developed young woman with her own goals and values. Overall, the film is light, visually neat, and watchable if you just want an easy teen drama-but it doesn't offer much depth.
