Seriously, don't even bother. 50 shades? Please, that's another joke 🙄

OK, the ONE other review is dead on. It is "50 Shades" without any real sex or nudity, but enough language to get the same rating.

And that kind of makes it a very dull watch, given that the point of seeing movies like this is, well, erotica. So why make a film that is erotica without any real erotica?

American Kamasutra is a erotic thriller film directed by Jacky St. James and star Ashlynn Yennie, Justin Berti, Raylin Joy, Victoria Levine and Kevin Nelson.

My Honest recommendation or review for this film is please avoid this film if you can. Unlike the name this is film is not at all erotic or thriller.

The plot of the film is average and the execution is bad, the screenplay doesn't keep the viewers intact and acting is pathetic. Climax also doesn't excites much Please avoid the film.

The name of the movie makes no sense because I don't recall any Kama sutra , poor acting, stupid storyline, stupid ending, I feel stupid wasting my time watching it. Only thing I enjoyed was looking at Justin Berti and he was the only actor with a damn.

It's impossible not to compare this movie to Fifty Shades. Especially when it's equally uninteresting, and doesn't follow through on anything either. It's like I got a watered down cut.

Every time the movie could have become a little more interesting, it instead goes to great lengths not to be, even going as far as to completely skip everything and cut to the next scene.

I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting some boobs. Skin Diamond is in this, for god's sake. I'm not saying there should be sex because she's a porn star, but the girl's named Skin. Come on! Just pull the camera an inch wider. It's not gonna make it on story, so give us something interesting to see.

Incidentally, Skin Diamond is the only reason this movie gets two stars, and both of them are for her.

I think I understand what happened here. Somebody saw Fifty Shades and thought "I can do that." Unfortunately, this seems like an expensive way to find out they couldn't. Unless the goal actually was to make something equally disappointing, in which case, good job.

Shame. This had the potential to be something more than what they were aping.
