Nakusa

The combination of story-telling, fantasy, parallels to a composer's life struggles (Rachmaninoff), and music makes for a new and entertaining experience. The only reason I didn't rate this higher is because I expect this director/writer/producer/actress to develop her art to levels even higher than this, her first effort and need to leave room for 9 or 10 star ratings in the future!

Right from the beginning I was drawn in by the music, Not knowing what I was about to watch, just hearing the wind, the sound of glass breaking had me already anticipating that is was going to be a scary movie. As I heard the actress, Jennifer beginning to speak, she made me more anxious, with still not knowing what I was about to watch, my hands even began to sweat just from the dramatic music and the voice I heard.

I was wrong with the expectancy of what I thought I was going to see. Instead, I saw a woman who was abandoned, discarded like she was valueless into a world that she came to know as her isolated world. A helpless soul wanting love, feeling so lost and knowing you can only live with being touched, valued and loved. Her world and everything around her finally pulverized for her lack of the love from her mother she so wanted and needed.

Jennifer Kramer is a virtuoso actress and pianist which she has exemplified in her short film.

The intensity of this film, when it was over had me feeling sorrowful for the character, and in some ways I could identity with some of what she felt. Though I was saddened by what the character when through, it left me wanting to see more of the film. It ended too soon.

Well done Jennifer, you made a masterful short film, can't wait until you make another one.

Everybody goes to the movies, it seems. To be entertained, but how many go to study movie's as work of art.

There isn't a movie in all of cinematic history that can truly be called perfect, but there are certainly some steps that can come almost close to it, written, directed, Solo Performance in a short film. This deep emotional, captivating quality of film was so brilliantly born, How could in not captivate an audience and leave them entranced.

Jennifer Kramer Is Brilliant. Artistic. A musical talent, emotionally creative, and so much more, If one would like to get behind the mind blowing thoughts of this extraordinary Young screenwriter Jennifer Kramer, Continue to follow her films, A refresh generation of new ideas .

This mesmerizing short film stayed with me long after the credits rolled. Beautifully shot with a haunting score, I look forward to seeing what next this director develops. Nakisha is beautiful.

As a young student, I studied Rachmaninov in music class. His level of mastery, his disappointments, depression his comeback. Seeing this young artist's work as a writer, director and actor creating her debut short film portraying the possible range of emotions Rachmaninov felt in a mesmerizing SciFi style of cinema filmmaking and as an actor. I look forward to more of her work in the future.
