I'm definitely a fan of First 48 and was excited to see more from the crew in ATL, however this felt overly produced, with long, babbling monologues from the detectives meant to make them seem more like warrior poets. It's strange to say, but I also felt that the more studio-quality camera and editing work made the entire experience feel less real and more like an episode of L&O.

If you like the first 48 this is right up your street. On second episode and we have all the usual characters. Awesome work. These guys are super stars, brings an appreciation for law and enforcement back.

Okay watch first episode Bridget Shields, sorry but my question is the girlfriend that she was going to party with. Because you ALWAYS late getting ready so she ran to store & then was killed. Are you on time now when people come get you?

Yes it may be insensitive of me, but after they talked to friend of phone, it was first thing popped in my head.

I've watched the First 48 since the beginning and now this is my 2nd best!...hopefully this won't be the end of this series!

I hope this has a season 2! Would love to watch it!

You don't know how hard the Police work. Until I watched this. It's amazing what they do. They must so strong minded to the jobs they do. Loving this portrayal of how well the detective go above and beyond to get justice for the victims and their families.

Awesome detailed show. Atlanta has a great homicide division.

The first series lasts all of the first season. Have an hour show about a case, not half an episode every episode about one case. Sucks. Won't watch any more episodes or recommend it to anyone i know.

Why did they dismiss ex boyfriend...so stupid. Also they need to do one case at a time. Not sure why they are promoted? Shouldn't they look for cameras first...dumb and dumber.

No stereotypes broken down with this one.... Loud mouth detective and assorted affirmative action hires. The glaring ineptitude.... Wouldn't be very hard getting away with murder in Atlanta Georgia it seems.
