I knew this film was going to be a disappointment but still decided to give it a watch. Then first 10-15 minutes was absolute shambles and tempted me to stop watching it. But i somehow completed half an hour and by god's grace, let me tell you am still not bad. Today i have completed the movie and there is nothing in it to give it atleast 1 star.

Acting was disastrous.

Story was written by a 3 year old surely.

Better casting could be seen in b-grade movies.

Without an ounce of any doubt, this is the worst ever film made in Malayalam Film Industry peroid!!

Can't believe Santhosh sivan made such a worst movie.., what the heck is this!!! It's like a 90s tv drama,.. may be that's even better than this.. direction failed ,art failed , story failed. They are thinking setting a lab with bunch of scraps and adding some vfx will make the movie looks like science fiction, viewers are more updated than the directors now days. Couldn't find anything good. And why kalidas always choosing worst movies.. unbelievable!!! Its a shame such movies are releasing in our industry in 2022.

One of the worst film malayalam industry ever produced. Kudos to Santhosh Sivan, he did a terrible job in writing and directing this movie.. Now I lost faith on his work. Watching everyone's acting in this movie is o e of the most suffered moments in my life. Soubin, you are better than this..

Each and everyone in this movie is a disaster. Just watch the trailer and you can understand how lame this story is. Why wasting too much money into this.

This is not a movie, this does not qualify as a movie in any sense whatsoever. So I am going to refer it as 'video; in this review. If there was a 0 rating I would have rates this move 0.

It is unbearable to watch, the story is meh, the cinematography (done by one of the best cinematographers in India) is somehow worse than some homemade youtube vlogs most of the time. The acting is cringe. The special effects look like it was done by a 10 year old kid learning about green screen for the first time in their life. Everything about this 2 hour 'video' is wrong on so many levels. In this age and time when Malayalam industry is being observed at the national level as torch bearers of good stories, this is an embarassment to the whole industry.

The most jarring thing is the fact that this is directed by Santhosh Sivan, the acclaimed cinematographer and director whose previous works are among the greatest of all time. Keep aside the fact that the leading actors including Manju Warrier (A State Award winning actress) and Soubin Shahir (An actor/director who has proven his merit) are all talented people. This 'video' is the worst movie in the career of all the artists and techinicians who have worked in it.

One of the worst movies in cinema history. Couldn't even get to interval. Manju warrier should stop acting forever.

No idea how Santos shivan who gave us anandhabadram and Urumi was able to watch this hectic creation atleast once.

Why Manju warrier is called a lady suerstar???what do these people think?? That the audience will sacrifice 2 hours to watch this stupidity. Had they done any background study on AI? Does the director even know what AI is. We will accept movies that have a real content. Shame on the entire crew. Shame on you Manju to choose such a worst story. This is making me think twice to whether or not watch Meri Awas suno..people made you a super star to be part of such stupidities.??

How could someone take such senseless and terrible movie. Simply out of the world blunder. Watched the whole movie and still no clue what was this all about. Is this the worse rated movie ever. There should be zero star.

The movie revolves around some non logical fictions and the whole crew really made it to be worst. Especially Soubin's acting. The same actor who nailed by acting in Ambili and some awesome other movies. But after seeing this one I was really upset.

The part of the movie is in 20 mins you come to know its a waste so they don't give false hope at all.

So many senior actors in movie and no one could advise the director about the same.

Poor producer.

Superb movie.... I think the director time travelled into the future to get the knowledge for this movie. Best acting by Soubin, Kalidas Jayaram. And I have witnessed the best villains in Mollywood. KIM KIM KIM KIM......

Please I beg the producer and the director that dont dub this movie to another language or release in another country....

Can i give this 0 stars? Cause it doesn't deserve any better.. worst movie ever release in malayalam industry perhaps.. It's so insane to watch the movie full..

Worst experience .. just watched 20 min closed smoothly.. then shifted to Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was far better. High end actor /actress should avoid such utter films without any story.

What happens when a bunch of loons escape from mental asylum and decide to produce, direct and act in a movie. That is Jack n Jill. All the actors, including Manju Warrier and Kalidasan look straight out a mental hospital. 50% of the cast can't act at all. Others look as if someone drugged them and made them mad. Kalidasan's female lead looks like a ghost all the time. The whole cast is either not acting at all or looking like a bunch of mad loons.

The less said about the story or lack therof. , the better.

What a mockery of audience's senses and money down the drain. Shame on the entire crew that brought the movie to the audience.

It's a must in ur playlist if you plan to tie your enemy down and torture them. Too bad there is no option for a negative rating. Never expected this from this team, I even doubt if this is the same Santhosh Sivan :-/

Some movies are like that... The movie is made by people we like a lot, but there is a feeling from the inside that we will get rid of it with that name, that expectation was not wrong this time. Santosh Sivan couldn't even showcase his outstanding talents of Cinematography. Actors were equally spoiling the dish.

What were they thinking ?

This is the only though through my mind as I watched.

Take any random sample of the movie through its torturous 2 1/2 hour runtime and you are guaranteed to be treated to cringe moments , overacting and shoddy acting.

Manju Warrier's overacting is getting worse by each movie and I am still not sure why she tries too hard to act. Soubin best excels in roles that do not require much talking. Not so here. Kalidas has one mode throughout - tries to appear stoic but just comes off as wooden.

Basil and Aju bring up the rear in poor acting. Couple of forgettable characters (including that kid from Drishyam ) kind of break up the monopoly of monotonous main actors.

Everyone much have been paid a ton to be this bad .

The songs, the direction, the lighting , continuity edits, dialogue all contribute to making the viewing experience a colossal disappointment.

Soubin tries to carry this movie forward singlehandedly but fails as his goofy gimmicks as the lovable A. I Kuttaaps can only do so much. Terrible plot idea, bad comedy, I felt sorry for all the actors that worked in this movie. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Truly a masterpiece. The action sequences were extremely well done and the plot was very engaging. The acting was in a league of it's own I had cried several times just by watching the talented acting. Well worth the 2 hours of my lifespan that I'll never get back. Plot may seem confusing at first but are repeatedly recollecting and analyzing I truly feel I have reached a new level of enlightenment. Perhaps I have finally shed off my mortal coils. Recommended to all fans of Sci-Fi.

Oh wow, what on earth was this. Not sure how anyone involved in this movie let this be created. Characters, story, acting..... all of it is so so bad. I wish I stopped within the first 10 mins.

Jack N Jill and its fantasy concepts over rely on its comedy screenplay which is the reason for its downfall. If made in a serious tone the whole movie would have felt better. Still, Jack n Jill is a weird watch with all the plot twists and the script itself. However, personally enjoyed some part of Manju Warrier's performance and the funny songs which made some part of the film better for me.

Soubin's AI is the worst part of the movie and the sole factor that makes the whole film unwatchable at times. Fourth wall breaking was the most unbearable part of the whole movie were AI blabbers random rubbish to the audience which feels like a preaching class at times.

A complete train wreck of a movie. Expected much better from Santhosh Sivan who's well known for his cinematographic skills and direction. The movie did have a list of eminent actors but their talent was wasted on a weak script and pathetic direction. The overall plot was good and with good direction and script could have been a much better movie. The only saving grace was Manju Warrier and the song 'Angane'. Manju Warrier's classical dance and the song were simply genius. Kudos to her and the creators of Angane. You deserve a huge applause for making a brave attempt to save this dud movie. A word to Kalidas and Shaylee Krishen - acting is not everybody's cup of tea. I sincerely hope with this movie Mr Santhosh Sivan retires from cinema. As audience we would like to remember him as a talented genius and creator of movies like Urmi instead of crap like Jack and Jill.

"Jack and Jill"-what was this movie even? It really missed the mark. I expected something unique yet average, the kind of film churned out in bulk, but no-it was an utterly baffling experience that left me wondering how I even managed to sit through it. Yes, it had a few funny moments and a solid concept, but that concept was completely wasted. And that's the worst thing a movie crew can do: when you have a great idea, you need to use it to its fullest potential and present something memorable. Here, they didn't even try.

Watching the movie, you'll find yourself thinking ideas like, "If only they had done this, the film would've been better." But they go in the exact opposite direction. When the story ends, you're left asking, "Wait, that's it?"

There were characters shrouded in mystery who never got explained. Had they explored those elements, it would've been great. I'd have given them stars for effort if even a little attempt was made to develop the story, but it feels like they never wanted to in the first place. It's really just a squandered opportunity.
