Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross & Dave Attell

Dave Attell is great but this show isn't. The first episode is almost entirely devoid of laughs. It's just a celebrity schmooze fest. Awful. I wasn't going to bother with any more of it but episode 2 has Gilbert Gottfried and Bob Saget. They do not disappoint. It's good when one of them is talking.

Make no mistake, this show stinks. If you'd never seen Dave Attell before you'd wonder what all the fuss is about. The Mic bump signals when you're supposed to laugh. Otherwise you wouldn't know.

Some things on Netflix are truly great. Dave Attell is truly great, but to make such a dull show with such great talent makes me fear for the future of comedy. Episode 3 might be fantastic. I'll never know because I'm not going to watch it.

Thank God Mitch Hedberg is dead.

Dark humour, roasts these three episodes are instant classics, wish there was more.

I could not stop laughing...these 2 roast each other effortlessly!

"You look like a cancer patient but without the weight loss" if you think that joke is very offensive and unfunny you won't like this show. That's a litmus test. On the other hand some of us enjoy listening to jokes that can be offensive and "trashy". I laughed a lot during the 3 episodes.

What could you possibly not like about Jeff Ross and Dave Attell? Roast jokes, one liners and special guest spots makes for a good comedy series. Wish they made more.
