The Devil's Passenger

It is a cool idea for a film but I found it poor developed but it is a short film so it is normal not having full plots here.

At first glance, this short looks somewhatpromising. Premise was interesting and there was definitely good tension. The cinematography was well done and hooked my interest immediately. But nothing really progressed enough to make it a solid short film. The film didn't need to resolve anything to be better. Without any level of evolution in the premise, just repetition, this short is disappointing. Apparently the director left the end "ambiguous" to continue the story in a sequel. But there is nothing ambiguous about it at all; it just feels like it was left I complete before it could even be ambiguous.

A good idea. A simple film, with great impact. Nothing special but correct crafted and its simplicity represents the lead motif for not ignore a short, good horror.

Just caught this at Sin City Horror Fest and it was a good short that I would like to see more of. The director answered a few questions and said it was left vague intentionally to leave it open to be flushed out in a later entry.

Okay then... this was really good. First of all, a lot happens in just four minutes-it feels like a complete story from start to finish, something that typically takes much longer to unfold. Second, the acting is exceptionally strong for a horror short. This could easily be expanded into a longer episode of a television horror series.

Third, there are several plot twists that keep things interesting and unexpected. While The Devil's Passenger doesn't offer a particularly unique storyline, it's a well-made entry in this category of horror.

Fourth, the film features some horror effects that are rarely seen in short films. It seems to lean on old-school practical effects rather than CGI, which makes it all the more impressive. I'd definitely recommend this one to horror fans.
