This is the first time I watch the street I walk through, the people I meet and the sky that stands high upon us on the big screen.

The first and only time I've been to the cinema was when I was a little kid, that time movie theaters were almost gasping to meet their final destiny. I still remember every siple detail of that night.. a person must remember his first time they say!

After that night I've never been to any movie theater as they were shut by the new regime and inforced, with a very strict understanding of Sharia laws, against people's will. Since then my longing never stoped and movies were never to be played in a once-upon-a-time socialist Marxists city!

Cheerfully, that didn't last forever as this movie broke the silence and changed the status quo.

This movie is well screened and directed, played with talent and passion, still, I find the story to be a mere cliche; repeated hundreds of times in art and literature, and this is perhaps why Amr Gamal need to hand some of the responsibilities he takes on his back to others. I believe that there are many Yemeni pieces of work that can be put into motion.

I highly recommend this movie as it is, up until now, one of its kind.

It is a wonderful movie. Made in difficlut times in Aden. Yemen. . The screenplay is great.

This is the first Yemeni movie to ever hit the theatre, and I -as a Yemeni filmmaker- appreciate this alot, to be the pioneers in this industry in a country is enough to make it a fabulous achievement. In the technical and artistic side, this movie has its flaws, but it's an amazing reflection of what's happening current in yemen and most particularly -Aden-. I'm not a reviewer nor a movie critic, but I'd absolutely go and watch it again if I had the chance. Thanks to Amr Gamel and all the crew for making this industry alive, for the first time, we hope more is coming.

I like this movie above all others. there is so much to see and appreciate. Every viewing brings a new appreciation of the story-line, the plot and the characters. Faultlessly acted and produced. I love the interaction between the players; the subtle relationships; the period atmosphere (the recent catastrophic war in Yemen).This romantic love story sweeps across the screen with epic proportions of both the strength of the victorious soul of this ancient city rooted in the middle of a dormant volcano and the dreadful ruin of the wretched war .

A movie has made between the fires and tears, colored by the sand of this ancient city. I consider this movie as a documented history of this period of time, mixed with true feelings, stories, joy and tragedies.. highly advice you to watch it 👍🏻

An original masterpiece, A story of love, tears and struggle between a young man and a girl but at the same time reflects the story of the great love of the people of Aden to their city despite all the difficult circumstances of war, As an Adeni girl who lives in the dearest Aden, this movie made me miss Aden while I am in it, and I am sure that this movie would change the stereo type taken about Aden to the whole world , So I highly recommend for everyone to watch this great movie

It is a great feeling when I see the first Yemeni film reach this level and achieve all the achievements. I'm writing this review with an honor for all stuff.

I adore this movie, great production design, storytelling and amazingactors! If you would like to know how war can effect lives even after it finishes, you must watch this movie.

The best film from Aden simulates the conditions of citizens after the war from not receiving money and increasing prices in terms of food, drinking, and housing, and also simulates the simplicity of people who love to live and peace and do not want more than that. I fear for her some of the following things that may happen soon, namely war because I know that there are people who do not like goodness for Aden from some other Yemeni region that holds hatred and racism for the people of Aden. thank you.
