The experts take the viewer out of the story because they are dry & for spooky fans, we know all of the designs of ghostly presence & they keep repeating the same thing every episode. The show works hard at making the stories sound scary but the stories are often exaggerated dragged out with all the hesitation when often these events are typically quick & often dismissed. I wish it would work out the stories more with less drool. I keep watching, hoping for better & less experts. Thank goodness for Amazon Fire TV I use my 10 second pass.

The witness accounts and recreations are fine. What blows it are the so-called "experts" and their ludicrous observations. It's like they're auditioning to be the next Captain Obvious. Totally pointless and devoid of any actual insight. If you need this, you're not paying the slightest attention to the story.
What are the minimum qualifications to be a paranormal expert anyway? For this lot, the title seems self-imposed.

Programs that have the actual witnesses tell their stories are my favorite. But the over-the-top dramatizations and "gotcha!" moments to make viewers jump is so unnecessary. A good ghost story doesn't need to be embellished. And what is with the **INCREDIBLY LOUD** background music/effects?!? It completely drowns out the dialogue, and is more annoying than creepy. Tone it down and get rid of the Halloween screampark getups.

The shows are fun, believe what you will.
But, I find it interesting that tv producers think their "experts" are more believable if they are foreigners and speak with an accent.
The evil spirits always have dark eyes, too.

So the Travel Channel recently ran marathons of Paranormal 911 and Haunted Hospitals. Well I like a good ghost story especially if it's told by the people that actually experienced it. Well both of these shows must be produced by the same people (Canadians according to their accents) and were dumb enough to have the same "actor" telling different unbelievable stories. In one he's wearing a 3-piece suit claiming to be a federal policeman for homeland security and in the other he's wearing a knit shirt claiming to work for a funeral home transporting dead bodies. Really??? This stuff is so fake it's pathetic!!

I watch these shows as a reprieve from daily life. What starts out as something with potential loses it quickly. Ghosts with white faces dark circles. Growling n hissing etc. I have seen many in my life never have I seen them look other than how they did before death. But very healthy. Maybe this is for shock value. Loses it for me after 2 episodes. Nothing new nothing intelligent. Generic.

Why do all the ghosts gargle and snare like a choking cat?
Really drags you right out of what could have been a potentially entertaining show.

The words they use are repeated by different people......."chills", "hair on the back of my neck stood up", "Black as night", "eyes penetrated", "eyes looked right through me", "I thought......but, I was wrong". Also, all "shadow people" don't have to "growl". If you are going try to make this sound authentic, you need to use different writers, with different styles and vocabulary. At a minimum, you need to get input from sources to change it up a little. Using a thesaurus might help. Also, don't go over-the-top with the demon stuff. The more sensation you try to make it sounds, the more ridiculous it becomes. The actors are good, but the writing and crazy stories don't work.

From.season 1 watch episode 1 for woman with the green scarf . Her aunt was in hospital. Then watch episode 9 and she is there again unbelievably wearing the same scarf but is a nurse . Check it out . There are other repeats of characters as well. Shame on this series just avoid it it's rubbish. A lie .
It's a shame when watching a TV series that is supposed to be real you encounter this . I would have at least thought if you would attempt this you would have them wear different clothes lol. Absolutely absurd . We have all clearly been taken for a ride and it's shame on the creators . Ok . Thank you.

The Canada Travel Channel subpar production strikes again! Please people: HIRE AMERICANS! You know, from USA? As in a SET DECORATOR and PRODUCTION DESIGNERS, for starters. This show, like all the other "I saw a ghost" from the TC where a victim/target/mark sits and explains what happened to them (and they have dozens of these!) is a great idea, but is a quick, limp letdown!
Here's how you NEED TO IMPROVE: 1) More atmosphere:
As in more footage of the night and the outside of the building in a creepy light, the moon and the clouds moving.
More stylized footage of the recreation
2) Make the visuals more interesting with:
A) Better set decor: Come to USA. Buy a bunch of cool, Halloween creepy decorations. Use some on all sets. Yes, ALL of them. Hospitals can have a creepy poster on the wall, a creepy vase of flowers, a creepy blanket the works
B) Better clothing.
Canadians do not how to dress themselves! Come to USA buy your wardrobe here, buy bright colors, reds, greens, blues, yellows. Make the colors POP! (NYC is "up North" too and they don't dress like utter frumps there!)
C) More symmetry to the decor.
This will contribute the much needed beauty aspect of the sets. Yes, beauty and creepy can co-exist.
3) MORE CREEPY MUSIC PLEASE!
Self-explanatory. Hire a composer who can create a fresh creepy track. Think Mike Myers and the like. Create a repeating riff or melody that is super creepy like that and USE IT!
And finally... 4) LESS OF THE BORING STUFF:
Less experts who are as clueless as the rest of us. Not needed, don't want to see or hear them.
Less footage of when stuff is not happening unless you are creating MOOD! (Hire Americans for that, directors, editors, and the above ref'd set decor people!)
We know these are CHEAP productions. Maybe the TC needs to make less but HIGHER QUALITY! Since 2020, we have watched every single episode of the dozens shows they have: they are ALL a huge limp letdown.
Buying Halloween decor off season is very cheap. Create your own with crafts. Browse Etsy etc and buy stuff and use it in the decor.
I always get happy when I see these shows coming on the TC as opposed to the extremely boring buy the beach, RVs, food eating contests and home remodeling ones. But please, get your act together. This is boring AF!
Hire Americans: Hollywood knows how to do this stuff correctly!

Why is there always just 1 witness always giving their account of their interactions? Many of these stories tell at least 2 people in countering some of the same interactions with the witness- having both would make it more believable- sharing their experiences separately and together. Did they experience the same, have they experienced separately- anyone else experience these things- more witnesses- to the same haunted hospital makes it more believable.

Totally falls flat on nearly every level. Instead of crafting a spine-chilling narrative, the series relies on overused tropes and poorly developed jump scares. None of it actually sounds real and is very much scripted in every sense.
Adding to the disappointment is the presence of Christopher Brewer, whose on-screen persona overshadows the narrative. His performance comes off as overwhelmingly self-absorbed and narcissistic. Instead of supporting the ensemble, Brewer seems intent on drawing attention to himself.
Would not waste my time on this so called "Documentary" , there was nothing real about it apart from Christophers ego.
