Sisters 3

I wish Girlfriends would give authorship and crew credits on their DVDs, as this edition of their "Sisters" series seems to have had a real scriptwriter for a change, and some solid direction.

Even anonymously, the quality is there, especially in the first half of the usual two-parter, starring Wicked Pictures graduate Kirsten Price and returning from a succesful turn in Volume 2, Capri Cavanni, as two sisters on vacation sleeping together in the same hotel bed.

We're introduced to them slightly drunk after an evening out on the unspecified town, both complaining about the crude guys they've had to deal with. When they recall some French kissing and other unwelcome advances endured, a demonstration in their hotel room goes a bit too far, and both are a bit sheepish over a more-than-sisterly soul kiss.

This set-up results in a highly rewarding pair of sex vignettes, tailored to fit the intriguing situation of them both going to sleep, carefully positioned apart at the edges of the queen-sized mattress, each erotically dreaming about a beautiful woman recently encountered at the hotel. So for porn purposes we get to view Kirsten humping away with beautiful room service lady from the salon Monica (played by the sexy Latina veteran Daisy Marie), followed by Cavanni serviced by pedicure lady, busty Breanne Benson.

These highly erotic dream-sex scenes are punctuated quite artfully by each of the sleeping sisters fondling the other, both sound asleep. Overall effect produces the sort of eroticism rarely found in XXX porn, as the "in your face" (so to speak) gonzo explicitness doesn't usually leave way for such subtlety. It's an impressive achievement.

The second half of the show is shooting for a different target, namely something of a social statement concerning the lesbian cause. It concerns four college girls in an off-campus apartment (rather than the usual dorm or sorority) and the issue of coming out. Casting expertly teams Karmen Karma and Belle Noire as sisters and the two actresses look remarkably similar to each other. They're paired off, respectively, with lovers Veruca James and Sara Luvv, and the sex is hot in both vignettes. But the result, of calling mom & dad to reveal they're lesbians (Karmen has yet to come out of the closet until now) makes for a powerful ending.
