These days making Iranian people laugh is not an easy job. I guess Davoodi and his Screenwriter's goal was basically this: to make people laugh, which I think they were successful. But compare to Davoodi's previous movie, Rokh Divane and Zadboom, this movie were more than 10 steps moving backward.

The comic of the movie was based on mainly Reza Attaran and after that Javad Ezzati.

If you wanna know how was the screenplay, just review the movie in your mind without these 2 actors or with other successful comedian, the result would be absolute failure.

Therefore Davoodi tried to save his movie by giving these 2 roles to Attaran and Ezzati.

Although I laughed a lot during the watching, but I think he could make much much better film

Hezarpa is an extremely clever, hilarious, heartwarming movie featuring great cinematography. With an assist from excellent cast, it provides a robust mix of laughs and danger in a crisp, clever production. The experience is engaging and completely enjoyable.

I watched this movie last night and was really disappointed! This movie is the-highest grossing Iranian movie of all time! You can't imagine how Shiiiiit! this is! The storyline is too boring that your finger approaches Forward key on the keyboard! The jokes in some positions can make you laugh but the whole is really really disappointing! Production Design is too satisfying and can stand beside that period! Director I think is the smartest man alive of Iran's current cinema who could make a lot of money with this film!

This film is very funny and low content, of course, it's funny that most people who have Iranian culture, or at least are familiar with it, if you don't know Iranian culture, I suggest you don't see this film, but if you know it's very good for fun and laughter, it doesn't have informative issues and sad feelings either.

Attaran for sure played very well in that character.

He knows comedy well and can make you laugh several times in the movie.

If you are looking for a good comedy story which is narrated in the Iran 70s and 80s, DO NOT miss this movie.

Best comedy I think that I've seen ever from Javad Ezzati.

Well, some of the actors in this film, including Mr. Javad Ezzati is one of the most well-known actors in Iran who has many fans in serious roles, especially comedy. You'll laugh a lot with this movie.
